Lusta vagyok írni arról, hogy mizuvan, szóval inkább bemásolom, amit a potato-barátaimnak írtam, maradjon meg legalább az utókornak.
In Tallinn it is quite calm so far – but it is Estonians we are talking about, so no wonder. In Hungary, the regulations are basically the same as in Austria – only be together with your family and you can be questioned where you're heading to on the street. But going for a walk and for some things is allowed so it is not very effective. Also, supermarkets now have an elderly-only (65+ from 9-12 o clock) and a young shopping hours...
I am living alone which is also not that much better...
In Estonia everything closed down, first the uni, schools, gyms (literally 4 days after I got a membership, 1 day after I bought a gym bag and slippers for the gym shower lmao), cafés, and now also shopping malls, with the exception of supermarkets inside them. Public transport still runs, on weekends it also operates like on the weekdays so there are less people/bus. You are only to be outside alone, or a maximum of two persons, unless it is your family, and with everyone else you are to maintain a 2 metres distance. Wolt food delivery puts the food at your doorstep and then leaves.
It is also going quite ok for me, I am working on a research paper for what I did most of the fieldwork in December-February so now I did the analysis and doing the write up and a huge article is almost ready so actually my productivity is pretty good – all thanks to trying to train myself to be an early bird, going to bed at midnight maximum and waking up with the sun every day, usually between 5:50-6:20 and having coffee watching the sun rise. Almost spiritual. And then into work, stuff, cooking own meals and exercising. I've gained weight in the winter which I usually don't so I am lowkey freaking out about being fat and trying to do something against it.
The drinking... The first 2-2.5 weeks I was in Estonia I had at least one drink each night – partially because I was with someone, I was at a concert, at a party, but mostly just to make sure I fall asleep in a new place. Now I have spent several days without my goodnight-beer (actually lonkero, which is a gin-based sweet longdrink sold bottled in all shops), which is great. Trying very-very hard to maintain good habits and not go crazy with my (as you all know) heavily extroverted (but I have always enjoyed solitude, thank god) self.
